I hope thats not really Brock Letchworth coming to the Pirates. He's a writer for the Daily Reflector. I believe it is Mark Letchworth.

Correct. Brock would also be one of the best offensive threats on the team this year.

Daniels and Woods both have big time arm issues right now. If that would have been somehow known or forseen ahead of time, they would not have been signed. Ashcraft will be the CF next year and Kemp will likely be at 3rd.

As long as Anderson is still capable. Cut the others loose if they're damaged goods.

A poster on the ECU site posted the following update on Zach Woods on 3/18:

Friday night Zach pitched his 4th ranked (in Tidewater) Princess Anne HS team to a 5-3 win over #2 ranked First Colonial HS. Both schools are located in Virginia Beach. He struck out 12, hit two triples, drove in three, and gave up a three run home run.

Perhaps one of the stronger classes ECU has signed. As for Zach Woods, considering how well he has been pitching, if that's with "big time" arm trouble then lookout when he's healthy.

Seems Zach Woods had problems qualifying... now headed to Louisburg. Also, Michael Anderson is now being projected as a 2nd-4th round pick. Big 6-3/210, 12-to-6 curveball with very good pop on fastball.
